Hello and welcome! I’m Terri Ouellette, the owner/operator of Serenity Space Solutions, where I focus on services to help you in your life, from Professional Organizing and Clutter Clearing to Interior Space design, incorporating elements of Feng Shui.

My work:

• uses a customized approach for your unique space organizing needs. Projects may be as small as one room, or as large as a whole house.
• helps you to reclaim your space and take control of clutter.
• helps with strategies for dealing with inherited belongings.
• helps to maximize your tax deductions while down-sizing.

For Interior Space Design work, I create room layout drawings drawn to scale, to help make furniture design changes simpler.

In addition, I offer:

• color consultation work;
• Feng Shui assessment and recommendations;
• and suggestions for maximizing space efficiency in any area: kitchen, laundry, bathroom, garage, basement, kids’ rooms and closets.

I’ve been working with people throughout my adult life, always primarily focused on improving some aspect of their lives. I hold a  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and also one in Biology. I’ve taught school, and I’ve owned and operated a successful drywall  and painting business.  In 2012 my company Drywall by Design received the Small Business Leadership in Action award through the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.

I believe in rediscovering who you are and working toward that which brings you and those around you joy. I have always had a passion for creativity and design, in my own home renovations and in the many projects I have worked on throughout my construction career. I’ve learned how to  incorporate elements of interior design to create spaces that work well and look great.

So many factors contribute to a truly comfortable, beautiful space! Ultimately, it’s all about what’s important to each individual person. Toward that goal, I use the principles of Feng Shui, a philosophy that’s been practiced for thousands of years in the Chinese culture. It’s a way of understanding how everything is connected: us, the physical world, and the universe beyond that. Today, we can understand the actual physics behind the notion of energy, and we accept that there are forces present in all of creation that operate at a sub-clinical level. By utilizing some of the principles of Feng Shui, I can facilitate a more balanced flow of energy in your home. This positive “chi”  is one of the many benefits of working with a professional organizational coach.    I truly enjoy working with people, especially when I can make a positive difference in their life.

We start with an initial consultation, which can be done in person or on the phone, and is at no cost. After discussing what your specific needs are, I can provide you with a general outline of what that project would entail, including an estimate of the time and cost of the project. Services are billed at an hourly rate, which may vary depending on the nature of the project.

I generally work along with the customer, but I can also do projects without customer involvement, if that’s preferred. Organizing and clutter clearing is a process, and throughout the process I will teach you how to continue and maintain your clutter-free space.

GENERAL PRICING

Initial Consultation	Always No Charge. Once an option (below) has been selected, the work I perform on your project is billed at $30 per hour. Payment is expected when services are rendered.
Option 1	Includes consultation/assessment. I develop a written plan for you, with a step-by-step guide for accomplishing your goal. I work with you on a small area to demonstrate the process, and you then complete the work independently.
Option 2	Includes consultation/assessment. I develop a written plan or strategy for you to achieve your desired end result. We work together to complete the project. In most cases this option takes several sessions, depending on the scope of the project.
Option 3	Includes all of Option 2, but includes a follow-up or maintenance plan.
